Mark G. Usdin, Attorney at Law

Mark G. Usdin is a seasoned personal injury litigation lawyer located in the historic San Marco area. Born and raised in Jacksonville, Mark has spent decades helping fellow Floridians with their personal injury law needs. He’s not an outsider. He’s involved in the local legal community. He’s not into making commercials. He’s a hands-on lawyer who is focused on his work for his clients. Mark earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wake Forest University and his law degree from the University of Florida.

Mark has handled thousands of civil cases involving automobile accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, nursing home negligence, medical malpractice, and more. He started his career as an associate at the Jacksonville law firm of Coker, Myers and Schickel and in just five years, made partner. In 1994, Mark left the firm to begin his own practice as Mark G. Usdin, P.A.

Mark is AV Rated by Martindale Hubbell, an honor only given to those attorneys who show the highest level of legal skill and moral standards in the legal profession. He has served as a board member of the Jacksonville University Athletic Association, the MS Society of North Florida, Grove House and a committee member of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee for the Fourth Judicial Circuit.

Katherine Hickinbotham, Paralegal, Office Manager

An experienced legal assistant, Katherine Hickinbotham has worked with attorney Mark G. Usdin since 1995. Born in New Jersey and raised in Altamonte Springs, Florida, Katherine attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate degree and Rollins College for a postgraduate paralegal program.

At the law office of Mark G. Usdin, P.A., Katherine’s responsibilities consist of working closely with clients from the initial stages of an investigation through the preparation for trial. This includes preparing discovery responses, assisting in constructing demand letters, obtaining medical records and medical bills and assisting clients with insurance issues.
